Terms and Conditions – Game of Chance

Information on how to enter the Competition and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions By participating in this Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions Entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid.

Win 1 of 5 Ultimate Jetboil Adventure Packs 

Eligible Entrants 

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. 

How to Enter 

To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must  

  1. purchase any Jetboil stove at a participating store, visit https://stsdistributedbrands.com.au/pages/competition and fully complete the online entry form. 

Limits on Entry 

  1. Multiple entries will be accepted 

  1. Entrants must retain a copy of their receipt as proof of a valid purchase during the Entry Period 

Entry Period 

The Competition commences at 12:00am AWST on 16 June 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AWST on 15 August 2025 

Draw Dates 

The draw will take place at 10:00am AWST on 18 August 2025 at Sea to Summit – 5 Eyre Street, Rivervale, 6103 

The winner will be determined by random selection by computerised random selection 

Prize Details 

The prize consists of: 

Jetboil Genesis Basecamp System, Jetboil TrailWare, Offgrid Solo Adventure Pack, Sea to Summit Frontier Ultralight Collapsible Dinnerware Set - [3 Piece], Helinox Chair One (RE), LifeStraw Go 2.0 Water Filter Bottle 1L 

Only 5 winner(s) will randomly be drawn from the pool of entries for this Competition.  

The prize value is $1,159.94 RRP per winner. 

Prize Delivery 

The prize will be delivered to the winner’s Australian address within 28 days after confirming their postal address 

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are not included. 

The winner(s) of the prize(s) will not be charged an administrative or delivery fee upon receipt of their prize. 

Notification of the Winner 

The winner will be notified by email within 5 days of the draw. The winner must accept the prize within 14 days after notification by confirming their postal address and phone. 

Winner’s details will be published on 01 September 2025 on https://stsdistributedbrands.com.au/pages/competition, for a minimum period of 28 days. 

Second Chance Draw 

If any prize is unclaimed by 08 September 2025 or the winner drawn is not an Eligible Entrant, a second chance draw will be held at 10:00 am AWST on 09 September 2025 at the same place as the first draw in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. 

The winner will be notified be email within 5 days of the second chance draw. The winner of the second chance draw must accept the prize within 14 days after notification by confirming their postal address and phone.

This Competition is authorised under: Permit No ACT TP 25/01227.1 and Licence No: T25/91. 

Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. 

 

INTRODUCTION 

  1. The following Terms and Conditions, which include and incorporate the Details, apply to the Competition Any capitalised terms used in these Terms & Conditions have the meaning given in the schedule above, unless stated otherwise. 

  1. Any information about prizes or entry instructions published by the Promoter forms part of these Terms and Conditions.  

ELIGIBILITY 

  1. Employees (and their immediate family members), agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Competition, the Promoter, businesses involved in determination of winner/s for the Competition, businesses involved in the management of the Competition, any organisation benefiting from the Competition, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter.  "Immediate family member" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. 

 COMPETITION 

  1. The Competition commences and ends on the dates set out in the Entry Period in the Details. 

  1. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Entry Period.  Entries received after the Entry Period will automatically be deemed as invalid. 

  1. All prize values are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST and are correct at the start of the Entry Period.  To the extent permitted by law, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any variation in the value of the prize after that time. 

  1. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner.  If a winner does not claim their prize by the Second Chance Draw date, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct the Second Chance Draw, subject to instructions from relevant regulatory authority.  

  1. If an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change between the date which they entered the Competition and the relevant draw date, that entrant must notify the Promoter of their correct contact details as soon as practicable, in order to remain eligible to receive the Prize. 

 PRIZE CLAIMS 

  1. The Promoter will randomly select the winner on the Draw Date.  To claim their prize, the winner must comply with the process in the Notification of the Winner section of the Details.   

  1. The prize must be taken as supplied (as described in the Prize Details) and is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. 

  1. Entrants must keep their proof of purchase specified in the ‘Limits on Entry’ section for each entry as proof of purchase ("Proof of Purchase") If an entrant fails to produce the Proof of Purchase as and when requested by the Promoter, the Promoter has the right to invalidate the entrant's respective entry/entries for which Proof of Purchase cannot be provided and/or all entries submitted by that entrant and/or forfeit the entrant's right to a prize.  Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify: (a) the store of purchase as an eligible store; (b) the required product/s or service/s to be purchased for entry; and (c) that the purchase was made within the Entry Period. 

  2. Prizes are subject to availabilityIf any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to supply an alternative prize (or part of a prize) of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various authoritiesNo cash alternative to prizes will be offered
  1. Any prize supplied by a third-party supplier is subject to the terms and conditions of that third party supplier.  The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of any third party supplier, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

  1. Prizes may not, without the prior consent of the Promoter, be resold or offered for resale (including via auction) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services.  If a prize is sold or used in breach of this condition, the Promoter may, at their reasonable discretion, withdraw the prize.    

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to use any forfeited prize for other promotions. 

LIABILITY  

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Competition or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation).  For the sake of clarity, this clause shall not apply where the Promoter has contributed to or caused such loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death and shall not apply to any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in each case the Promoter’s liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).  

  1. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or communications or other communications The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, caused by circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Competition Further, the Promoter at its reasonable discretion may recommence this Competition under the same Terms and Conditions and will include entries provided prior to the recommencement on such basis as the Promoter reasonably deems fair and equitable, and in accordance with its obligations at law. 

  1. Except as contemplated by paragraph 19, nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights of the Entrant under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

  2.  If the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other legislation provides that there is a guarantee in relation to any good or service supplied by the Promoter in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the Competition and the Promoter’s liability for failing to comply with that guarantee cannot be excluded but may be limited, then paragraph 16 does not apply to that liability and instead the Promoter’s liability for such failure is limited to (at the Promoter’s election):
  1. in the case of the supply of goods, the Promoter replacing the goods or supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, paying the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, or paying the cost of having the goods repaired; or 

  1. in the case of supply of services, the Promoter supplying the services again or paying the cost of having the services supplied again. 

RELEASE FOR PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES  

 

  1. By entering into the Competition, the winner agrees that the Promoter may post the winner’s entry on the Promoter’s Facebook page, Instagram and website without prior permission of the winner.  Entries remain the property of the Promoter. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, first initial and postcode of residence By entering this Competition, entrants consent to the use of their information as described Entrants may ‘opt out’ of further promotional or marketing communications from the Promoter by using the ‘opt out’ function on any electronic marketing materials received. 

  2. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions.  In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the Eligible Entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final. 
  1. The Promoter may (where necessary, with the approval of relevant regulatory authorities) modify, terminate or suspend this Competition at any time in its reasonable discretion without liability to any entrant or any other person if for any reason beyond its reasonable control it cannot conduct the Competition, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.  The Promoter will notify entrants of any changes to the Competition, as soon as possible.  

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry in this Competition The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false information, is fraudulent, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, is involved in manipulating, interfering or tampering with this Competition or submits and entry that is ineligible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditionsThe use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid. Errors and omissions may be accepted at Sea to Summit’s discretion.  

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY 

  1. The Promoter may use and disclose the personal information supplied by entrants when entering this Competition in accordance with its Privacy Policy found at: Privacy Policy.  The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition, determining and notifying the winner (which may include disclosing personal information to prize suppliers)  

PROMOTION NOT SPONSORED

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions.  In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the Eligible Entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.
